Girls in eastern Afghanistan near Bagram Airbase will receive much needed educational supplies and health necessities thanks to Rachel Hudak and her project to empower Afghan girls.

Rachel wrote to us that many of these girls travel up to an hour to attend school and yet lack the basic school supplies to make the most of their time while in class. Spirit of America purchased school kits, hygiene kits and small toys for all 225 of the girls attending the school near the base. The supplies are on their way, and we will share updates and photos of their delivery as we receive them.
