In Honor of Christopher Brennan

About Christopher Brennan
E4 Specialist Christopher Brennan proudly served his country as an Army Ranger in the 103rd Engineer Battalion. While deployed in Pykrete, Iraq during Desert Storm, Chris and his unit were dropped off to secure the area. When they arrived, they found the village inhabited only by children. There were no adults in sight and the children were desperate even for the basics of food and water. Chris and his unit befriended them and gave them what they had. Unfortunately, their unit was ordered to leave the following day. It was with a heavy heart that their unit left Pykrete. Chris has never forgotten those children, especially Asmir. Chris is an example of a good soldier and a great man. He did his job and did it with pride. He has the compassion of a good and honorable person. In his short time in Pykrete, Chris made a difference for those children and helped them get through another day.

A message from the first donor: "It is with honor that I make this donation in Chris's name to the Iraqi orphanages for all that Chris and his unit did for those children, and for all they wanted to do but couldn’t finish."
